    Linen Drawer Pure Cotton 300 Thread Count Flat Sheets

    A beautiful 300T/C pure cotton, sateen weave, 100% cotton fabric, in a lovely stone colourway called 'Desert'. This fabric has been developed by The Linen Drawer specifically for the hospitality industry. The handle is smooth and a little silky, with a subtle sheen. The colour is on trend and is a light stone colour. Dura-Colour means that the fabric is dyed differently. 

    The perfect alternative to white fabric for areas with 'hard' water

    Much of SA is characterised by 'hard' water. The means that the water, specially ground water, is very mineral rich. Over time, 'hard' water colours white fabric, resulting in a unpleasant greyish yellow shade. In this case white bed linen is not advised, and colours such as beige and taupe are usually used. However, these colours cannot be treated with bleach for stain removal. Dura-Colour Desert has been developed as a solution to this problem. 

    Why is it called Dura-Colour?

    • Can be washed repeatedly.
    • Can be bleached with a normal bleach solution (5-10%) showing no colour changes.
    • Can withstand stain removal methods.
    • Has excellent tensile strength and light fastness.

    What is Dura-Colour?

    • Sateen weave is both luxurious and strong - making for a wonderful combination.

    How is it different?

    • It is dyed differently from other fabrics. This makes it impervious to normal bleach solutions, as well as durability when it comes to repeated washing. It will not discolour when washed in poor water.
    • It is 'pet-friendly' in that stain removal from paw prints is easily achieved.
